Pink Himalayan Salt Remedy! Hydration with Real Change!

The Pink Himalayan Salt Remedy:

Hydration with Real Change.

Have you ever wondered why you can’t seem to drink enough water. You’ve drank and drank and drank, only to still have dry, itchy skin, dry mouth, constipation, cramping muscles and so on. What is the answer? There is more to hydration than just water. What is the body really needing when it is thirsty? Let’s take a look at the full spectrum of thirst that our bodies have. Hydration with real change starts with the following elements.

WATER is the first easy way to hydration.

We all know we need water but why? There are many reasons why we struggle with hydration. Our bodies consist of about 70% of water in our body mass. As we exercise, and move about our day we lose water vapor through our skin, and other means especially if you live in very arid area. It is super important that you drink an adequate amount of water a day.

“With out adequate consumption of water you could be at risk of: “heat injury, urinary and kidney problems, and low blood volume shock” that is according to the Mayo Clinic at https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/dehydration/symptoms-causes/syc-20354086.”

Hopefully, the water we drink is cleansed, and purified, if you are buying it this way. If you are drinking from the faucet you are drinking what ever the water plant put in there to make it just good enough to drink (which is not good enough for my standards). In either of these cases; are you getting the water you need?

In Europe the European Food Safety Authority says: 0.9L/day for children aged 1-2, to 1.6L/day for women and 2L/day for men is sufficient. In the United States of America The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is: 3.7 Liters of water for men and about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women. However, even though you may be drinking your water every day, you may still struggle with symptoms of dehydration. In these cases we must dig a little deeper. But first let us talk about too much water.

Too much water can have the opposite affect called water intoxication. Too much water can dilute your sodium and electrolyte balance disrupting proper balance of the body’s systems possibly resulting in hydration overload symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, low blood pressure, muscle cramps, drowsiness, double vision, confusion, and difficulty breathing. Just to name a few. Although this is very rare, too much of a good thing is something to remember here. If the body’s ph balance is off it can affect your brain and its commands to your overall body and could lead to death. So always be sure to drink in moderation and with mineral intake to keep your ph balance of your body healthy. This leads us right to that necessary element of real thirst; electrolytes and minerals.

ELECTROLYTES hydration.

The Mayo Clinic highlighted in this same article posted above that the natural “Electrolytes- such as potassium and sodium - help carry electrical signals from cell to cell. Without adequate levels of potassium and sodium the messages your body sends can be mixed up, hence resulting in muscle cramps and even loss of consciousness. Fortunately, for you, these are the easiest to resolve.

POTASSIUM is number 3 on our list of easy hydration.

Potassium supports the function of nerve signals, muscle commands, heart beats and blood pressure. It also helps with the delivery of nutrients into your cells. The great news is you can find potassium in many every day foods such as Bananas, oranges, potatoes, leafy greens, pumpkin and more. Be sure to incorporate 2-3 servings of this a day to combat dehydration.

The 4th easy way is MAGNESIUM.

According to the healthline.com 2-15% of American experience Magnesium deficiency. “Health conditions such as diabetes, poor absorption, chronic diarrhea, and celiac disease are associated with magnesium loss. Some symptoms are: muscle twitches and cramps, possible lack of emotions, delirium, and even coma, and may also cause anxiety. If you feel this may be you, you can read further at: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/magnesium-deficiency-symptoms#twitches-cramps.

Most Americans lack the proper levels of magnesium in their diets. Taking a easily absorption magnesium supplement can assist you in hydrating your body.

The wonders of Pink Himalayan Salt will amaze you as it helps hydrate your body.
Hydration with Real Change. Pink Himalayan Salt Remedy

The 5th and best (in my opinion) way is PINK HIMALAYAN SALT / SODIUM.

One of my favorite ways to combat dehydration is Pink Himalayan Salt.

Sodium can be quite a controversial subject do to different ailments or conditions people may have. So we are going to talk about Himalayan salt and Celtic salts in place of regular table salt.

Salt/Sodium is absolutely necessary for many functions such as fluid balance and cellular self regulating abilities, nerve conduction and muscle function. However, to much sodium and you can damage other organs in the process. Table salt is simply sodium chloride and does need to be regulated accordingly.

Pink Himalayan Salt and Celtic Salts contains more than just sodium chloride. These salts bring something extra to the table for your body. We all know our bodies are complex organism that is still being studied and misunderstood. We still struggle to fully understand the human body and its needs, but one thing scientist know for sure, we need minerals; 102 different ones we know of so far. I know, one more thing to keep track of in our diets, right! The beautiful thing about pink salt and Celtic salt is, they provide 82-84 of the 102 minerals you need daily for optimum health.

As I researched this amazing phenomenon, I came to the realization that not all pink salt is equal. There is a study on Pub Med Central you can peruse if you desire to understand content of minerals in pink salt. You can look it up at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7603209/. I will only touch on a few things they highlighted here.

  1. Pink Salt contains many minerals such as calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, sodium, and sometimes selenium, and molybdenum. Along with many other trace minerals needed for bodily functions.

  2. All Pink Salt contain non-nutritious minerals such as aluminum, arsenic, barium, boron, cadmium, cobalt, lead, mercury, silicon, silver, and sulfur are all very small amounts present while Sulfur, and aluminum were higher but were still well under the nutrient RDI and AI recommenced levels. The exception here would be pink salt from Peru which showed to high of levels of aluminum which should be avoided.

  3. The dark and medium dark pink salts granules contained more mineral content varying from dark pink to light pink then the colorless rocks or white rocks. As quoted from the Pub Med article link above: “Pink salt contained substantially higher levels of calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, aluminum, barium, silicon, and sulfur, but lower levels of sodium compared to the white table salt.

  4. Pink salt cannot supply all of your need for certain minerals such as calcium and should not be the only source of nutrients for calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, or selenium; and should be taken in moderations as some people are sensitive to sodium intake and should stay within the dietary restrictions of less than 6 grams of salt per day from all sources of food and drinks.

It has been also noted in the research that 11-16% of individuals are Inverse Salt Sensitive and require a higher intake of salt to regulate their blood pressure, upwards of 10 grams per day. Whether or not this is true for you, consult your doctor before consuming to much salt/sodium, since the rest of us would be adversely affected by to much sodium chloride in our diets.

There is a vast amount of scientific research in NIH/Pub Med Scientific data site that you can jump into. At this time we are going to talk about personal testimonies of switching to pink salt as opposed to using table salt.

PINK SALT REMEDY. HYDRATION WITH REAL CHANGE was first discovered by me when I watched a video by Barbara O'Neil on you tube. She researched and sought after scientific information and used the research to run a clinic to help heal individuals that could not find help in any other way. One of her videos talks about the affects of table salt. I remember her mentioning that table salt causes the cell to reject the flow of nutrients through the cell membrane which in turn increases blood pressure. Table salt only contains sodium chloride and ionization. She further went on to compare this salt to Pink salt and Celtic salt. Since these salts contain nutritious minerals the cells did not react in such a way to the sodium and showed more natural function and absorption of nutrients through the cell. During her teaching she advised to take 2-3 dark pink rock salts every morning under your tongue for absorption of the minerals you need for your day. This will help you stay hydrated. After the pink rocks dissolve under your tongue drink a glass of water. Now you have a more complete hydration process even before you head out the door to tackle your day.

I have since suggested such use to many of my friends. Some of which do consume a good amount of white breads and rice in their diet. These foods tend to lower the nutritious minerals in your body due to their composition. This constant depletion of minerals, when consuming these foods, can lead to dryer skin, dehydration, and possible other adverse affects. By simply adding this step in the morning, you can assist your body in maintaining a good mineral optimization. Keep in mind, dark leafy greens and other nutritious foods should be in your diet as well such as sea moss or otherwise known as seaweed. Seaweed is a superior supply of minerals like unto pink salt as well. Unfortunately, not all people enjoy the flavor of seaweed. Pink and Celtic salts seems the most welcomed and budget friendly solution to the overall thirst of your body, accompanied with a good glass of water. However seaweed may just be the ticket for those of you that need to keep your salt consumption under control. These are perhaps the most budget friendly solutions to the hydration solution. There, of course is always the more expensive route of supplements, which in somethings like magnesium is just absolutely necessary and unavoidably needed. You can purchase minerals in a bottle if you feel this would be beneficial in helping you avoid overloading on sodium. But keep in mind you still need that sodium for function as well. Not enough sodium can leave you wanting.

TESTIMONIES

Most recently, I suggested the pink salt regimen to a dear friend. Her and her daughter were experiencing muscle cramps consistently. I suggested she take the recommended amounts every morning. With in a few days, she informed me the muscle cramps stopped and hydration returned to her body.

I had a younger friend who stayed with us for two weeks and complained of her skin being very dry. After a couple of times taking the dose of pink salt with water, she came back to me surprised that her skin was no longer feeling dry and was amazed by this simple remedy for her dry skin.

RESEARCH

I think there is much more to be researched about pink salt and Celtic salt that is still to be discovered or published widely.

This article on Pub Med is only the beginning of understanding the the nutrients and function of pink salt. They don’t think that pink salt is a good source or sufficient supply of nutrients, and for some of those minerals I agree, but there is something to be told about real results of pink salt in my friends.

Now, please take precautions as you should for your health, but mostly find all the research you can that is scientific research. Often we trust our doctors to do the research but we are now in the day in age that digging for scientific research yourself just might save your life.

Enjoy trying this easy quick remedy for your mineral intake but also take in moderation according to daily recommendations and surely stay away from Himalayan salt from Peru which contains way to much harmful aluminum. Outside of this enjoy this easy simple solution to hydrate your body easily every morning. I want to thank you Barbara O’Neil for your dedication and drive to inform the public of simple health and life changing solutions. May you thrive and grow in everything good.

Blessings to you all as we take one more step into a healthier, thriving you.

Daily Regimen: Upon waking up put 2-4 medium to dark pink Himalayan salt rocks, or Celtic salt rock under your tongue until absorbed. Follow up with a warm glass of water. This will send hydration directly into your system for the day. Warm water is necessary to flow right into your gut.
